Rafiqul Islam, Sherpur: A pipe gun was recovered from Panihata village in Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur district on Thursday night.
Police and witnessed said there occurred a familial feud between Dulal’s sister and her neighbour Mazeda at panihata village. They became agitated seriously. Mazeda suddenly spoke out I know what you have hidden in your home. People nearby were surprised to hear it. At one point Mazeda told a gun lay hidden in Dulal’s bed room.
Villagers informed thana police and police recovered the pipe gun.
Dulal Mia ran away seeing police. He is the son of Mofizuddin of Panihata village in Nalitabari upazila of the district.
Officer in Charge of Nalitabari thana AKM Fosiur Rahman said a case was filed against Dulal Mia in this connection.
